 Four new high-tech ORs inaugurated |
As part of extensive expansions to the Alpha Klinik premises that are currently being carried out we recently inaugurated our 4 new high-tech operating theatres. On January 27 the first knee and back patients were operated on in the brand-news ORs.
As well as being ultra-modern, their cheerful colour scheme and lighting create an exceptionally pleasant atmosphere for patients and the surgical teams.
The old operating theatres, which were in use since 1985 and in which 16,500 knee patients and 11,000 back patients were operated on, will be demolished in order to make way for the Knee Unit's new stationary ward, which is scheduled to open in June of this year, marking the final phase of the expansions. |
