34. Mrs. S.S.: A 58-year-old housewife who wasn't really able to put weight on her knee following an untreated skiing injury when she was 24.
58-year-old housewife Mrs. S suffered a skiing injury when she was 24, after which she wasn't really able to put weight on her knee - especially since she received no specific treatment for the injury and was not given a diagnosis. The patient was unable to walk for longer distances and felt very limited in her everyday life. An abrasion plus osteotomy was performed on her knee in November 2002. The follow-up procedure shows excellent results, as can be seen on these images. Mrs. S no longer has problems with the housekeeping and can also walk for longer distances without any pain.
