29. Mr. R.H.: A previously operated 61-year-old businessman who had suffered from knee pain for many years and was no longer even able to work in his garden.
61-year-old businessman Mr. H had suffered from pain in his right knee for many years and had already undergone 2 unsuccessful arthroscopic operations on that knee. More recently, he wasn't even able to work in his garden, which he greatly missed. Mr. H was also told that an artificial knee joint was his only option. An abrasion plus osteotomy was performed in November 2003. The follow-up surgery in April 2003 showed excellent results, as these images clearly demonstrate. In the meantime, Mr. H. has taken up gardening again.
